Our Founder:
Norman Sanan (1927-2021)
Industrial Pharmacist [Dip. Pharm. SA; MR Pharm S (GB)]
Our Founder, Norman Sanan was internationally recognised for his experience as an Industrial Pharmacist, Aerosol Technologist and Cosmetic Chemist. His early success as the Technical Director of an aerosol contract packing subsidiary of S.A.B, DELTA SANWELL in 1970 earned him favourable recognition from Colgate Palmolive, Gillette Bristol Meyers and Elida Gibbs for his unparalleled knowledge.
Norman Sanan left a legacy as one of the most influential figures in the fields of Aerosol technology and Cosmetics having served as President of the Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (AMA) as well as Co-founder and President of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists of South Africa.
Each year The Norman Sanan Award is presented by the Society of Cosmetic Chemists for exceptional research in the field. Norman’s vision and commitment to quality is what we strive to carry forward today.
